I'm a food writer and cooking teacher.  In January 2017, I started KitchenFly, a personalized coaching service for beginner and aspiring home cooks. Before that I launched and oversaw the editorial lifestyle team at BuzzFeed, first as food editor then as creative director from 2012 to 2016. I also launched and edited Bon Appétit magazine’s website in 2008; I worked as an editor there for six years.
